Wyoming Hills Apartments has been my home for over 9 years. The complex is nestled in the comfort of the trees surrounding it on 3 sides with a grade school on the other side. There's a park beyond the trees with a track which I use to exercise. I also take walks in the neighborhood and enjoy seeing older homes that people have fixed up and made so beautiful. I have windows on both the back and front sides of my apartment and a nice balcony. In keeping with the peaceful environment the complex has a "Quiet Rule" that is strictly enforced and much appreciated. The maintenance is wonderful. I love not having to worry about that. In the winter our parking lot is plowed and sidewalks cleared generally before I leave for work in the early morning. And it seems that the City of Dayton crews work on Wyoming Street early too. It is so conveniently located to I-35 via Steve Whalen Blvd. that it seems I can get anywhere I want to go in a very short time period. I really enjoy UDF on Wyoming where I can stop & not only get a cup of coffee/milk/whatever but I can also use the ATM. The library on Wyoming St. is another favorite place for me. It is well used by the neighborhood. The laundry rooms here have 3 washers and 3 dryers and there's a nice sized folding table so I can do my laundry in no time flat!! I've gotten used to "waiting" to do my laundry instead of a load at a time like I used to do when I had my own washer/dryer and I find I like doing everything and getting it over with. "Wash Day" is usually stay at home & get stuff done or watch TV and be lazy day. Besides that, doing "full" loads is a "green" way for the environment too. They have a cleaning crew come in and clean the hallways/stairs too. Lawn maintenance is outside my window right now blowing leaves and keeping the lawn looking beautiful. The apartment manager has been here for quite a few years and she has always been helpful and respectful of my needs. She's truthful and sometimes blunt but considerate. There are "rules" we all must abide and she's the enforcer of those rules. It can't be an easy job. I'm so happy living here and at night when I'm in bed I feel safe and at peace.
