This apartment complex was in a good location with relatively friendly neighbors.
The rules about having to have a nice car are pretty ridiculous, and some cars get passed up, and others get tagged.
I actually moved out because I was so mad that my boyfriend's car was going to be towed because it didn't look nice enough.
He is a poor medical student and doesn't want to get a new car and more bills, because he is focusing on education, not driving a bently.
The maintenance WAS terrible, not that they weren't nice people, things just weren't fixed correctly most of the time, just temporary band-aids to keep people from complaining for a couple of weeks.
The NEW maintenance man that came around 3-4 months ago was fantastic - and completed every repair correctly - which was amazing...
AND he was friendly - BUT - The manager did say some not so nice things about him too, so I don't even know if he is still there, because they went through close to 5 maintenance people while I was there...
(They said it was because she was a very poor manager, but who really knows) she honestly did say bad things about a lot of people, staff, bosses, other apartments, residents, you name it.
When we moved in - the electricity was an absolute atrocity.
Nothing worked the way it was supposed to, and it wasn't fixed until that final maintenance man came - and we moved out shortly after that, so it wasn't worth it.
PS there are NO OUTLETS in the bathrooms, which makes absolutely NO SENSE to me!
Not a lot of room for storage, so you really can't have more than bare minimums.
If you can buy a brand new car, and all of your friends/family etc all have brand new cars - it's a great place to live.
Just beware - and steer clear of management.
there are so many other places to live though, you might want to consider continuing your search for the best apartment.

I completely agree with the above rating. The manager gossips about the maintenance and he seemed angry at times when he had to come out and fix something. It's like they play this game to get out of fixing things. One would blame the other. It was very strange. And yes, the manager gossips about the residents as well. It's more like a "great place to live" if you don't mind cock roaches here and there and nothing ever getting truly fixed. I guess it's okay though overall??
