We have lived here for two years. The community was a great place to live with the specific personnel. Then Village Green probably decided they didn't care about this community anymore, and all personnel that cared about there job was routed to other communities owned by Yorktown. Now since then the office staff and maintenance have had aa huge turnover rate. No one cares about there job, or the people they are taking care of. Office didn't write up the work orders for maintenance to fix anything, and then when the maintenance would show up, unless we were already home, we wouldn't know since they wouldn't leave any notes. For instance, for two years we had problems with our central air. After much pushing on our part, they finally decided it was cost effective to completely replace the central air. At the end of the first day there was no sign that the maintenance was here, calling the office turned frustrating when they didn't even know if maintenance were here, and they weren't in a hurry to find out. When we pressed, they found out the maintenance were at our apartment, but couldn't finish the job and would be back the next day. If we didn't go out of our way to make sure that Yorktown did their job, we could have turned on the AC expecting it to work, and cost them a fortune destroying what work they did do, just because they didn't leave a note. THE STAFF HERE JUST WANT THEIR RESIDENTS TO PAY THEIR RENT AND LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!
