We moved in last year to Hayes Colony.

I thought it was gonna be a great place to live.

The apt they show you before you sign the lease looks good.

It has been refurbished and is full of all new items.

When you finally move in the apt is nothing like the one they show you! The cabinets are hold and the inside of them are rotting away.

It was so gross.

The apt are sinking in so none of the doors close, literally i had to slam my front door a couple times before it would work.

The carpet had holes and stains when we moved in, and about a week later a smell came out.

Our dishwasher broke a total of 12 times the last six months we lived there.

The maintenance guys did what they could but wasn't allowed to give us a newer one.

Our pilot light blew out almost every night of Dec and Jan, we would wake up and it would be freezing cold.

They would only light it not fix why it was going out.

In the summer our air conditioner would keep freezing up, almost every other day.

We would have to shut it off and wait til it would thaw ( around three to five hours).

The staff in the office is horrible and unreliable.

They will tell you one thing and turn around and lie about it.

The office manager will yell and scream at you, they are very unprofessional.

She will also allow her friends to move in, very sketchy people, who have animal breeds not allowed and that are uncontrolled and dangerous.

I am very glad my lease is up and i have already moved to a much better place and apt with the same price.

Once we paid for the last month and moved out before our actual lease was up, they threatened to give us an eviction even though they were paid for our whole lease.

Make sure you actually write a notice of leaving and not just call and tell them.

They are now threatening to make us pay for 45 days after we are out and push us out three weeks early.

We have been using the apartment for storage since we paid.

The manager calls us with threatening phone messages and we are turning them into the better business bureau.

I hope you seriously read these and consider your options first!!!

I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, I have also contacted their agent (as shown on the lease) to speak with the people above normal management. We moved to an apt about five min away and behind a shopping center for the same price that are only four years old. I suggest you try to as well. My neighbor broke their lease and ended up paying less than her monthly total!

wow, I wonder if you are our neighbor. I completely understand what you are saying. I can't wait to leave this place. We should write a letter to the newspaper or something and let these retards no they can't just push people around! Good for you to get out of here!! I envy you:)
