Lousy management

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
We've been here for almost a year and are moving out as soon as possible. The apartments are priced way too high for the quality and maintenance. The grounds are unkept. There's trash all over the lawns. The stairs are falling apart in my building. The lights in the breezeways go out frequently and aren't replaced quickly. They fired all the mainenance staff and only hired two people to maintain all these apartments. Requests go unchecked. I still have a hole in my wall from an unresolved maintenance issue from 9 months ago. The geese are overrunning the property. They are leaving poop everywhere that is not cleaned up. They are now getting highly agressive and territorial. The pool looks disgusting in the morning after the geese have finished with it. The "pond" is dirty and stagnant looking. There are residents who sit out in the parking lot drinking, listening to loud music and urinating in public. The office and police department have been notified, but nothing has been done. The hedges are never trimmed. There's little to no planting done. The breezeways have trash in them. Management promised a playground in Spring of 2007. It has yet to happen. People drive through the parking lot recklessly. There are dog waste cans provided for pet owners, yet they overflow for weeks. The smell is unbearable in the summer heat. On a positive note, the apartments are large and they have balanconies. That's about it for the positive. Office staff are for the most part friendly, with exceptions. They are, however, tied down due to corporate problems. Maintenance is knowledgable and helpful, but they are severely understaffed.
