Overpriced, management changes policies without notification

We picked Britton Woods because the location is good, the apartments were large and in decent shape, and most importantly because they had much fewer weight and breed restrictions on their dogs. We saw several people walking around with Huskies, Great Danes - the kind of dogs you often can't get in an apartment. We decided that the high price was worth it.
However, after we moved in, they changed the dog policy to the standard breed and weight restrictions without grandfathering us in (they only grandfathered people who had a pet at the time of signing), raised the rent for our next leasing period, and had a maintenance man arrive at 8:30 without warning and turn off the water while we were in the middle of showering. Management has not been helpful about any of this. The place is overpriced and does not care for its tenants at all. Not worth the cost, when you get get an apartment nearly as big or even bigger for $200 less a month. Overall, they charge you an arm and a leg for every random thing - we are getting a house payment lower than this rent would be with the extra dog rent.
