Overpriced and soooo not worth the $

My husband and I lived here from 2002 - 2003.

When we signed our lease we were told that we could have our deposit back after 6 months of on-time rent payments.

Having NEVER paid my rent late I thought that was great.

When our sixth month rolled around the office staff acted like I was an idiot for thinking up such a thing.

Naturally the girl who signed our lease was no longer there.

For me it wasn't even about the money, just the fact that obviously they would say anything to get us to sign and then "forget" about it.

While living there we felt that the apartment was very cramped.

The living room, dining "room", kitchen and laundry area were all basically in one room with two bedrooms and baths stuck on.

The master bedroom was TINY, although the master bath had a "garden tub" (large oval tub) and that was nice.

We paid nearly $800 for this 2BR and when we moved out it was to a 2BR Town Home for $100 less/month.

Oh, and my car stereo was pried from my dashboard while parked in front of my apartment :(

Speaking of moving out, in spite of the fact that I thoroughly cleaned the apartment and SPECIFICALLY the appliances, I was charged FIFTEEN DOLLARS because there were a few minuscule crumbs in the seal at the top of the refrigerator door and a teeny bit of something at the bottom of the oven.

Never mind that I could have wiped them away in less than a second, they wanted their $15!
