I have lived in Britton Woods for almost 2 months now. Me and my fiance moved here from Florida, before we came up to OH we searched via the internet for apartments, I looked at the website that britton woods has and instantly liked the lay out of the apartments and the fact that they all come with a washer and dryer (which I found out not many places have here in OH). I got on this site to see how Britton Woods rated and what I read almost scared me enough not to bother to look, but I did stop by any way. Right off the bat my fiance and I liked the manager here. He was honest and helpful. He did not "rob us" or scam us in anyway. When I found out what the deposit is to move in I was shocked. If you think paying 150 or even 300 is too much try paying 2600 or at the most 1000 to move in anywhere in Florida. This is in a nice neighborhood its close to everything and they are widening the intersection in front of the street Britton Woods is on. Its not the end of the world if there is a little traffic you may have to sit for 3 to five minutes depending on what time you leave. Unless you live out in the middle of no where you will likely get stuck in 8 oclock or 5 oclock traffic anywhere in Franklin County. I have had 2 small problems in this apartment one being my own mistake and they were handled right away by the management. The grounds are nice and kept to the best of their ability their are lots of ducks and a beautiful pond with a fountain. There is also a nature trail that starts in the back of the complex. So if you are looking to move here and are turned off by all the bad postings at least give Britton Woods a chance and stop by and look for yourself.

Deposit is cheap because they get you when you move out - just wait. Full month rent deposit is not uncommon in Franklin county or Columbus - most places that advertise the cheap deposits will hit you on the back end when you leave. I used to work for an apartment search company and they all do this. Save up before you move out, previous posters complaining about high fees upon move-out are correct, Britton Woods is no different.

Well, if it was Tom you spoke to good luck - - he charged me for tons of stuff when I left and I had pictures to prove otherwise. I only paid it because we are military and are renting because we move every couple years.

Good luck when you leave. Also, be sure to keep your medical deductible low becuase you will need plenty of doctor visits because of mold. Finally thet deposit, kiss it goodbye
