I recently moved out of Britton Woods at the begining of March.
I lived there for 2 years.
While I was there we had the same property manager the entire time and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
Britton Woods is very dedicated to providing the best living they possibly can.
When I moved out they provided me with the touch up paint that I needed and I cleaned my entire apartment so that it was back to the way it was when I moved in and I received my ENTIRE deposit.
I dont know who these people are that keep complaining about receiving large bills when they move out but they must not be cleaning up after themselves, because if they were they would received their deposit back just like I did.
I was afraid after reading some of these posts that I would get stuck with a bill.
But all I had to do was CLEAN my apartment.
If you leave the apartment in less than the condition you moved in you deserve to get a bill.
Just my opinion.
But if you are looking for a place to live I would recomend Britton Woods any day.
We were very happy there but our family is growing and needed a bigger house, otherwise I doubt we would have moved.
Thanks Tom, Barb, Britney and everyone else for being so sweet to me, my husband and our baby you made the move here from FL easy and it was nice to meet great people right off the bat.
Thanks again for everything!

Deposit is cheap because they get you when you move out - just wait. Full month rent deposit is not uncommon in Franklin county or Columbus - most places that advertise the cheap deposits will hit you on the back end when you leave. I used to work for an apartment search company and they all do this. Save up before you move out, previous posters complaining about high fees upon move-out are correct, Britton Woods is no different.

Well, if it was Tom you spoke to good luck - - he charged me for tons of stuff when I left and I had pictures to prove otherwise. I only paid it because we are military and are renting because we move every couple years.

Good luck when you leave. Also, be sure to keep your medical deductible low becuase you will need plenty of doctor visits because of mold. Finally thet deposit, kiss it goodbye

Ya, Tom was nice to you and actually helped?? Wow, he was such an a** when I lived there. Did not help us with any problems and acted like I was wasting his time. I am so happy I moved away from here. They did not give a damn about anyone living there. They just wanted your money.

Guess what? This was written by staff. Date was written in 2008... but they moved out in 2010? Really? I lived here years back. They were rude in the office and maintenance requests we repeatedly requested with lack of response for weeks until finally, for the 3rd time, I went into the office and threatened to contact the BBB and their corporate offices did they all of a sudden get their a*ses in gear and get my apartment fixed. Give me a break. Staff wrote this. It's too clear and concise... we all weren't born yesterday, Britton Woods.
