Karric Place

 

This place has a cute set up, being that it is sort of like a cottage-style of living, so that's what interested us.

However, it has not been a very easy place to live.

When we first moved in, the carpet was filthy with stains all over it.

We asked about it and they told us they only change the carpet when they need to and it wasn't bad enough yet.

For the past year and a half, we've been dealing with ant and spider infestations throughout our apartment, and no matter how many times we spray or have the maintainence men spray, they will just not go away.

We called maintainence when our toilet was broken and they came out and said that it wasn't broken.

So my fiance had to go and replace the ring himself.

Then, this year, they repaved the driveway and we were out of town that weekend.

Rather than give ample notice that they were towing if a car was left on the property, we didn't find out until the morning of and I had to raise hell to get my car away from the tow truck driver.

The apartment complex never changes the overhead lights in the apartment complex, so walking at night feels very unsafe.

This they say is not their fault but the electric company's fault.

Apparently they ony pass blame onto everyone else; nobody takes responsibility for themselves.

Then, to make matters worse, this past weekend, my fiance's car was apparently leaking gas.

We were up in Cleveland and came home to find the gas everywhere.

My husband looked it over and we were going to repair it today.

When he got home, he found out it had been towed because it "looked" unopperable.

This is without calling us, tagging the car, etc, etc.

They could care less that we've kept all our complaints to ourselves over the past year and a half and have been great tenants.

They've never had a problem with us, and they treated us like that.

So just keep that in mind when searching for your next apartment.

They could care less about you, no matter what.

Their concern is only for their apartment complex.

Meanwhile, we have a group of about 12 people living in the apartment across from us, which, I don't know, should be kind of illegal...We're planning on taking them to court now to deal with this whole car situation.
