I've live in Karric South for nearly two years now, and it's been an overall average to good experience. There are always down sides - occasionally hearing neighbors through the wall in the wee hours of the morning, competing over the parking spaces closest to my door, etc. etc.

We've had some problems with appliances and because of our location, we've had a mouse and two shrews get into the apartment. The maintenance staff uses inhumane traps, so we caught the critters ourselves and placed them outside - but they are either coming in through the front door (shrews get into TINY places) or under the house through the utility room.

I don't find Karric South to be particularly unsafe - never had my car broken into or felt unsafe while walking around the building to my door. However, I live at the very edge of the complex and things could vary depending on location.

Overall I've had a pleasant experience in Karric, but I am choosing to leave because the rent is going up to "market value" compared to the rest of Dublin; however, the rest of Dublin has better floorplans and offers a bit more for the renters.

I have lived in Karric for about three years now and I haven't had any major issues with them. The most problems I've had is loud music from the neighbors but as soon as I'd notify management, I never had any problems after. I have to say, I actually like it here. My rent did go up but not too much to make me angry. Maintenance is always here the next day or same day when I have an issue. I too have not felt unsafe living here but I agree with you, it may depend on location.
