I have only lived at Lakeview Square for approximately 6mos however, it has been a complete nightmare ever since! The biggest mistake I ever made was moving to lakeview square. I do not recommend living here to anyone. When I first toured the model apartment (which I did with the property manager, Scott) I was told that the apartment I wanted would have the same exact ammenities. Well, I have the ceiling fans, updated appliances, and new countertops (which they charge extra for) however, I was promised crown moldings, which I don't have. I was also told I would have polite, prompt maintance......THAT IS A LIE! The maintainance doesn't fix anything right the 1st time, ignores the on call pager and when they do show up they are rude and act like you are waisting their time and bothering them. One thing that frustrates me the most is the lack of parking!!! The parking behind my building is very, very limited! However there seems to be an overwhelming amount of overgrown bushes, trees and unkept landscaping that needs to be removed so that more parking spaces can be added. What amazes me is I pay more for rent than some tenants because I wanted the "upgraded" features however, if you have two cars like me and my husband do, you can forget about having a place to park for the second vehicle. What good is living somewhere you cant even park'''' I have complained to the rental office and was told that corporate is aware of the problem and the possibility for adding parking however had declined managements request for the addition! Maybe corporate should trying coming home from work with a car full of groceries and having no where to park!!!!!! The location of the community is good. However, management only elects to keep up the apperance of the apartments located in high traffic areas. If you don't live on the outskirts of the apartment community, you can forget about having trimmed bushes, clean gutters or siding that is actually on your apartment! They also allow pets, however, dont enforce the tennants to pick up after them! It's disgusting! THIS APARTMENT MANAGEMENT/CORPORATE IS VERY VERY CHEAP! THEY WANT THEIR RENT ON THE 1ST EVERY MONTH HOWEVER, DONT WANT TO PAY FOR THE UPKEEP OF THE PROPERTY/COMMUNITY!!!!!!!

I LIVE AT LAKEVIEW SQ ALSO. I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU ARE SAYING COMPLETLY. THIS APARTMENT COMMUNITY IS A JOKE! WHERE I LIVE THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE TOO! I JUST CALLED THE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN AND ASK ABOUT ADDITIONAL PARKING AND ALL I GOT FROM THE MANAGER IS A RUDE ASS ATTITUDE AND SAID MY ONLY OPTION WAS TO PARK A BLOCK OR TWO AWAY FROM WHRE I LIVE!!!! THIS IS COMPLETE BULL ----. IF I COULD MOVE NOW I WOULD. I THOUGHT LIVING HERE WAS OK UNTIL NOW HOWEVER, I AM LOOKING TO MOVE AND TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING FOR WHEN MY LEASE IS UP IN DECEMBER!!!!! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! THE MANAGER IS A JERK!

I live at Lakeview Square and yes, parking can be tight in some areas but in the back of the complex, there is ample parking. Having some of the inoperable vehicles removed might free up a space or two but really, parking isn't that big of a deal. I've been through this complex on a Saturday night and noticed many people have pool tables and other crap that does not belong in the garage. Perhaps you're complaining because you use a garage for uses not deemed proper (read your lease). You fools knew the first come first served rule on parking when you moved here. Get over it.

I've lived at Lakeview for 2 years, and I totally agree with the poster above me. Living at Lakeview means you automatically get a reserved spot for your car... YOUR GARAGE! Sure if you have roommates, obviously someone is not going to get the garage, and they will need to find a parking spot. Parking is tight on my street, but this probably varies by street. Anyways, as I drive around Lakeview and see garage doors open, I'd say at least 50-75% of garages down the roads I drive down have crap in their garages and not cars- they will have their garage set up as another living room with couches in it, or will have tons and tons of boxes stacked up in it... etc. Why pay for an apartment with a garage and not use it for a car? I just don't get it. Basically the people that do not use their garages for cars are the ones making parking worse. Plus the cars that never move (perhaps they are broken down or someone just never leaves their house) taking up parking spaces is really annoying. Last year I saw a tow-truck come through my street and tow quite a few cars, but I haven't seen a tow-truck since. But if you arent using your garage to park a car in- that's not the leasing offices fault. Though it IS their fault that they do not yell at/fine those who keep things in their garage that are against the lease.
