Perhaps I've just been lucky, but we are really pleased overall with our experience so far at Lakeview Square.

A big complaint recently seems to be the manager, who I must admit was very rude, though the rest of the staff is nice enough, but he is now gone per the asst. manager. I am glad for that!

Another big complaint I see is the noise, and we haven't really had a problem with that. I can occasionally hear my neighbor's TV or music when I have neither on in my apartment, or I can hear them when they run up the stairs. We can also hear the planes overhead every once in a while, but really, the noise level is comparable to the other apartments I live in. Unfortunately, noise is part of apartment living, I think even condo living for the most part. Unless you're in a single family, free-standing home, I think some noise is expected.

The grounds aren't the best kept, and I did have a few maintenance issues when I moved in, but the space (absolutely huge townhome with garage and 2 master bedrooms), location and relative privacy make up for that. There have been a few car break ins on our street, but this is another unfortunate fact in the Columbus area, you have to be careful no matter where you live. I haven't heard of any other incidents, it doesn't seem to be a crime-ridden area or anything like that.

Overall, while this complex isn't anything spectacular, it's also not as bad as it's made out to be, and the size of the apartments is really great.
