I moved into Olde Mill Lakes 5 years ago from Abington Village next door. I have to say I was not pleased to come here, as we were downsizing living expenses and moving to a smaller place and nobody wants to do that.

I started out in a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath and moved to a 2 bedroom 2 full bath apartment in my 5 years. I have to say the layout of the 2 bedroom 1.5 bath is a little ODD in that there's this weird little nook in the livingroom that's impossible to figure out what to do with! :-) I tried putting the t.v. there, but it was way too far away! The master bedroom however is the BIGGEST I've EVER had in a garden apartment.

The 2 bedroom 2 bath is HUGE for the price - has GREAT storage inside and out (so did the 1.5 bath version, even bigger because the location of my unit gave me a big outdoor storage closet that I had TWO full-sized BEDS in!)

The office staff has completely changed since I moved in - but both sets have been great. One person who is no longer here gave me some troubles - and I did get an eviction notice when I had a friend staying with me for a little while (against my lease it seems to have a visitor).

Since that person's departure, however, I have had no issues! They handle maintenance requests promptly and are super friendly.

They have periodic balcony contests and costume contests with GREAT discounts on rent - and have happy hours also for neighbors to get to know eachother.

There is no workout facility - but the pool is hardly ever crowded! Sometimes I was the only one even there :-) If the office staff needed something, they'd come out to the pool to find me and knew me by name always (both sets of office staff). That is something you don't always get in an apartment.

I didn't want to come here - but I am moving to a house soon and am surprised to say that I am sad to go :-) I have lived on Hard Road for 7 years total and will be moving away from this area - Olde Mill Lakes has a PERFECT location because it's Dublin, but it's really not, so that makes it cheaper and it's near everything.

Two thumbs up and I will miss living here :-)
