Perimeter Lakes is a nice, quiet place with a great location (despite all the construction). Walking distance to Irish Fest, the Dublin Rec and the Memorial Tournament. The apartments are a bit dated, so I was annoyed when the clubhouse got a complete remodel but I still have a 16 -year old horrid faux- brass light fixture in the dining area. The biggest problem here is that the property manager is sulky, rude, and is NOT a people-person. She doesn't like kids and I always feel as though she is annoyed by everything. Once I was in the clubhouse with my baby poking around - I didn't need anything, we were just out and about. She didn't even say hello or acknowledge our presence. She is in the wrong line of work for someone who seems to cringe every time the door opens.
The maintenance team is great, very personable although overworked. He seems to be working at all hours of the day, but is still always there with a smile. I've seen others on this site complain about maintenance calls taking to long for response, I blame the property manager. I once had BOTH my toilets plugged up and she didn't return my call for two days. The old manager was great, but this one needs some attitude adjustment.
Aside from that, it is a nice place to live. Our neighbors are great. I've never once heard ambient noise through the walls (i.e. TV's, loud music or voices). You can hear some footfalls of the people upstairs, but it isn't bad. OH there was an attempted break-in a few weeks back - not my apartment, but a few buildings down. That was the only time I've heard of that happening, though.

I agree. The manager has no interpersonal/social skills and needs to be fired.
