I was very cautious and meticulous when searching for an apartment. I thought I had found the right one when I moved here. The maintenace men make sure that the model is top notch but when you sign your lease and THEN do your walk thru your decieved! My windows leak, i feel like my bathroom is an out house. I live in a 1 bedroom and bedroom and bathroom is a constant 20 degrees cooler than living room. Nothing is fixed but bandaids put on things. my walls have been painted before i moved in but now you can see that where there were cracks and splits in the drywall is coming thru thr paint. my bathroom ceiling was falling in when i moved in. so far they have had to replace the dishwasher and stove. Its so drafty when in the apartment I walk around in 3 pairs of socks , 2 pairs of pajama pants, 2 pajama shirts, and a thick robe and then I wrap up in a blanket! When I took this apartment they pushed that it was a luxury apartment! The only thing I see that is luxury is the fire pace that I am sitting against! And lest I forget, the grounds are like a trash can. You can not walk your dog without bringing in someone elses mess from thier dog. The maintenance staff throw old stoves and refrigirators behing the building. There is and old dresser that has been back there for a while. I see cans,bottles,bags in the trees and fence. There is even one area under a cedar tree that has some wires that look like dryer wires, they have tried to bury the wires but they didn't stay buried and my husband says they are live! Now wouldn't that just be awful for a child to get tangled in' No,if you want comfort,warmth,and safety stay away!!!!! And oh yes, I am handicap and I was told that I could not park in a handicap place because they are reserved for others that have been here longer but if I get my Dr. to write them a letter why I am handicapped then they will get me a sign also. Number one:When your Dr. signs the form to get a handicap placard there is a place for a diagnosis so the DMV knows why you need it and it is issued. Sawmill is invading my right to privacy and it is my right not to have to tell them why I am handicapped only to let them know I am and give them a copy of the form .I believe this is dicrimination against the Handicapped!
