PLEASE read the lease agreement carefully before signing anything with this management.

Lots of hidden clauses in the lease agreement that tenants are not made aware of before signing.
1.

$12 increase in rent every year.
2.

Lease gets automatically renewed for another year if you do not give a notice otherwise after 10 months.

3.

Other adhoc policy changes after you move in, which you have to abide by.

Get everything that you need in writing before you move in.

E.g.

Dish antenna installation, pets etc.

Other issues:
1.

Unsafe.

Neighbors car was broken in.

They also entertain weekly rentals for their apartments - you are never sure who could be your neighbor.

We sometimes have 2-3 different neighbors in a month.
2.

Most appliances have reached their end life.
3.

Terrible insulation between floors and overall.

You can hear even the slightest movements from the second floor.

Significantly high gas bills in winter (well over $100/mo).
4.

Change in school bus policy - Beginning Mar 2006, school bus cannot enter the apartment premise.

Kids have to wait on the street for the bus - unsafe environment for kids.
5.

High water-sewer bills.

Until mid-2005, my avg water-sewer bill used to be $15-20.

From then, the avg bills have been $45-50/mo.

Please consider all these points before moving in here.

If you think these points are made up, please make it a point to talk to a few tenants before you sign the lease.
