Management should never rent a top level apartment to couples who have kids!
The ceiling/floor is very thin and when kids run and jump it is unbearable! You can also hear when people talk and understand what their saying! Sometimes it actually sounds like their in the same room and you can hear every word! You can hear when they flush the toilet and drop the lid.

The stairwell to upstairs is totally inside the bottom apartments so you can hear them coming and going, closing doors. And, its all very loud not faint sounds like most apartments.

So, if you want to enjoy peace in your home, this is not the place. At least not in a bottom apartment. And, please have mercy on the bottom level renters and do not rent a top level apartment if you have kids! Rent a bottom level and they can run and jump all they want. There is a clause in the lease for noise from kids so it is possible you will get kicked out!
