When I went to see these apartments I was shown a very nice unit, but upon move-in I was horrified when I opened the door ! The apartment I was given was outdated, dirty, and run-down ! This was my first apartment so I was excited. Being young and dumb (and they knew this), I didn't realize that I should have protested to the apt. management and refused to accept the apt. I had to clean before I could even unload the truck, because none of the apartment had even been cleaned ! After settling in, I went to take a shower & the hot water heater was broken. It took them 10 days to get it fixed ! I had a leaky bedroom window that dripped every time it rained ! They spray paint the apartments and overspray is EVERYWHERE ! Unlit hallways in the common areas, and parking lot made it an unsafe environment when coming home at night, since I've witnessed drug deals taking place in the complex. They are so cheap they won't install bulbs because they don't want to pay the electric. Along with that there were many other repairs needed in the apt.

Also, their water/sewer company is not local and the fees on the bill were not limited to just water/sewer only, but included pest control, administrative, common electric, and trash fees, and a $19.99 fee when you move out for disconnect !!!! Glad I got out of there. For those of you who are reading this "after the fact" there are laws in place that protect us and you have rights. Just go online and search "Landlord/Tenant Rights." There is an abundance of helpful information out there. I could go on & on, but the bottom line, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!
