I grew up in this area and many of my friends from high school tried various apartments all around here when they were ready to move out on their own. Without question, I chose the best apartment community - Ivy Manor. You pay electric, but heating is included in the rental price, AND you get 100% control over your own thermostat. The pool is small, but well maintained. Maintenance staff was always very prompt addressing any issues I had, which were very few. I also really liked that there were plenty of windows, so the apartment always had an open and bright feeling - especially in the extra large kitchen. We also NEVER had any problems with any types of bugs. Another nice thing is that each set of four apartments shares a washer and dryer situated indoors in the stairwell between the apartments. I've rented a handful of different apartments in the Dayton and Cincinnati area, and this apartment was by far the nicest, most convenient, and well-kept of all of them. And it manages to also come with a very reasonable price tag. I was very happy with my stay at Ivy Manor, easily received my full deposit back, and only moved because I needed a place with 3 bedrooms (they only offer up to 2 bedrooms). My only complaint is that each apartment gets just one assigned parking space. However, there was always plenty of parking along the street.
