Bad experience

It's definitely true that you get what you pay for. Although the price was o.k., there was much to be desired from all aspects.
-All around poor construction. Fixtures crooked, air conditioning unit crooked in wall, bathroom tile falling apart, Paint chipping. Power sockets barely hold plugs in, causing an electrical fire hazard. All the light sockets go through bulbs faster than any thing I've ever seen.
-No real temperature control. In winter they keep the temperature at 80 . in summer, the puny AC barely makes a dent in heat.
-Management uncooperative in most cases. Had a couple of billing problems including a bill charged to me twice. Online rent payment costs $12 per transaction. Neighbor had his car towed for no reason. Often the pool was closed in summer just because they didn't feel like having someone out there.
-Crime out of control. Had a radio stolen from my car. Neighbors had wheels stolen off cars, lawn chairs taken, ect. Broken glass often found in parking lots. Over twelve tires slashed at one time.
-Noise was often a problem. Often there are college parties even on weekdays and the only way quiet them is to threaten to call the police. Walls allowed me to clearly hear the neighbors fighting.
--My recommendation: stay away from this place. Pay a little more if you must. In the end, it will be worth it.
