2 years ago I was told that everyone in the apartment complex would have to start paying for water which I could deal with. #20.oo a month was pretty reasonable. We had to send our payment to some company in another state (which to this day makes no sense to me). I personally believe this was a bogus company to make us think a real water company was involved. A few months ago we were told to include our water payment with our rent. A flat fee of 21.50 (per person!) is to be paid. My next door neighbor has a wife and 3 kids. They must pay 107.50 a month!!!!!! Noone checks the water meter ever and I think people are being cheated out of money. Recently I recieved a letter saying my account was audited and that I owed for 2 months for my water bill. I disputed this knowing that my bill was paid in full. I was theatened with eviction and forced to pay. Many other residents recieved this letter too. I have decided to contact the Fair housing commitee and maybe Mapleview will have their own Audit
