What a HORRIBLE place! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/25/2004 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2004   BEWARE! If you have any plans to move into this complex, know that all that has been stated in most of these reviews, (except the "good" review) are basically correct. Parking- MISERABLE! You really need an assigned parking space, but according to management, that is illegal in the city of Fairfield. Cost- EXPENSIVE! Currently they are advertising a 1 bedroom w/ den starting at $579. Yet, I am currently renting a one bedroom (no den) for $619. Every year you re-sign your lease, they will raise your rent a minimum of $20. Maintenance- LAZY! Last Christmas (2002) a water heater blew (a frequent occurance since all water heaters were installed 10 years ago, and they are all slowly dying.) and the guy was on vacation. So maintenance came over, and shut the water off to the heater, and put a fan in the apartment. After all, it was Christmas. Needless to say, his apartment, and the one next to his were flooded, and left closed off for over a week. Imagine the smell! And the stuff that was ruined! ** recalled GE dishwashers are still in all the apartments with no future plans to repair or replace ** Fitness Room- Ah! One of the perks you have for renting these apartments! Can you imagine, a work out room with a faulty Nautilis machine, an excercise bike with no pedals, and free weights with half of them missing' What kind of fitness can you get from that' Well, the good news is that they are putting in another door in the fitness room so you can "excercise" 24 hours a day. 24 hour notices- on avaerage, they only give you 16 hours , and once I was given less then 6 hours. That is AGAINST the law!
