We moved into this apartment for the decent price without really loking around and we've paid for it. We've had a myraid of major problems since moving in. The building we live in is old and we have had to have the water heater and dishwasher replaced. We have had many leaks and there is extreme water damage in the carpet and ceilings, not to mention the infestation of mold in the bathroom due to the apartment being underground, water dripping from above us and the fact that our fan doesn't work. The maintainance staff is generally nice, but good luck getting them to come to your apartment. Management will not answer phone and will not call you back. When you do get ahold of them they will lie to you about solving your problems and are generally rude. The building is a mess. The front door system where you are supposed to be able to buzz people in has worked for less than 6 months of our 2 and a half year stay. Half of our building has bedbugs (fortunately we don't) and during the process of eradicating them we will find notes on our door telling us we need to be out the next day, all day, including our pets so that they can check our apartment for bedbugs. The notes they leave are confusing and often at less than a day's notice (although the notea are dated a week earlier). These are only the highlights of the stress caused at Cobblestone Grove. I would not reccomend this complex to anyone.

Interesting. I have known many residents there, and they have all had serious complaints about the leasing office Manager. They have all said that the Manager is never around, doesn't return calls, cannot remember what she has told them from one day to the next, AND she could care less about what residents think of her "as the manager". Her name: Thelma. I've never met her, but wow does she sound like a piece of work.

yes here name is Thelma. she is not worth to be a manager. she doesn't no how to work and doesn't want respond for residents calls. very rude & horrible talk.hope they change the mngt.

I used to live there but Thelma was not the manager then but the lady that was so rude and did the same thing. I seriously think the Conner Groups find these people to put in management positions at the nut house. A five year old could have done a better job then all of the staff put together. My opinion is to GET THE HECK OUT NOW. You will regret it if you stay.

Good to know I'm not the only one who has issues with Thelma, but your right no matter what you say about her or who you report her to, she hasn't been dismissed yet.

I filed a complaint about Thelma to the Connor Group. Their response? They forwarded my complaints to Thelma and had her "respond" to my complaints. I'm sorry.... I thought she was the problem. Not happy! DO NOT MOVE HERE!
