I have lived here since June 2004..... Until July of this year, we were really satisfied with maintenance, including any problems with may have had with bugs.

I am among the many neighbors in other buildings that are complaining about ROACHES!!!!!!!

Let me tell you- our building 2222 Albemarle Dr, has been infested since early July, 2007... It took until August 8, 2007 to get an exterminator here. By that time the entire building was being infested. I live next door to the apartment where they originated , shortly after the 4th of july weekend moveout of the tenants... Even after repeated calls about the infestation and the worsening of it, all I got was "well if you don't like the roaches, we will let you out of your lease so you can move". THE RENTAL OFFICE KNEW WHERE THE ROACHES ORIGINATED AND DID NOTHING TO CLEAN UP THE OFFENDING APARTMENT FOR 2 MONTHS!!!!! No wonder we can't get rid of them. Can't cook, because the roaches are so bold , they will actually crawl across the stove while you are cooking on it!!!

Don't plan on renting any apartment in this complex until you are absolutely certain that it hasn't had roaches in the last 6 months, and ask the neighbors around you if they have had to be exterminated.

Oh, and management is totally apathetic to anyone who calls more than once about this problem.

**also-- beware that we have car breakins and apartment breakins that are becoming more frequent!!!

this review is the work of some worthless manager at Fairfield Pointe. Noboby with any common sense or experience with Fairfield Pointe would ever write such obvious and egregious lies.

Sighs Loudly ... Idiots .... All of you... Fairfield Pointe does have its problems, I admit, but it is nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be. For the most part people are friendly and respectful, everyone has their bad days. Maintenance can be a little on the slow side, but knowing there are only a few maintenance men and 2 LARGE apartment complexes to look after, I would say they're doing their best. As for the problem with the trash compactors, perhaps they would work better if used correctly! Imagine that, proper use making something more effective. Besides Rumpke is responsible for that anyway, not the complex and its staff. I have lived in Apartments my whole 17 years on this earth and this is one of the better ones... Even without the pools and tennis courts this would STILL be the place I choose to live. THINK BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN. Nothing is perfect.

if this place wasnt a hell hole...people wouldnt say it! go read other apartment ratings that are good apartments!! they all have good reviews...this place is TRASH just like the people who run it!!... and im not the only one who thinks it.
