I'm a resident at Fairfield Pointe. Few months ago i reffered my friend who wanted a one bedroom, he feeled out the application, was approved, made the down payment (which is refundable if you don't move in according to the agent). Him and myself visited the appartment he supposed to move in. He wrote down the adress. The day he supposed to move in, the appartement was "not ready". When he asked why, he was told they have no openening yet. I cant believe it!!!!. He was at the end of lease at his other place.!!!! Now he want his money back because he found another appartement. They said he can not get it back . The reason: "YOU have 3 days from the day YOU wrote the down payment check to decide to move in or not, either YOU are approved or not". And they dont tell you that when they get the check...
My friend was Black and only speak fluently french, i thoutght he didn't understand the agent, but they did it again to somebody i know, he is white... I wonder what is going on!!!!!
PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP THIS PRACTICE.!!!!!
