This has been the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I can not wait to get out of here. It seems like every other month they turn off our water and no not notify us. One of my screens to my window has been slashed, and no one has come to fix it even though I have told the office at least 4 times about it. Someone spilt used cat litter in the hall when they were moving out and didn't clean it up. I call every day for 3 days until they finally cleaned it up. Maintenance is a joke, they never come when they say they will. Like someone else said, the trash is always piled in front of the trash bin (maybe they should have more than one trash bin for the entire complex). There is no insulation inbetween the floors. We can hear entire conversations our upstairs neighbors are having.

WHAT DO YOU CALL THE SIGN POSTED ON EVERY DOOR? It said the water was gonna be off today. >.>;; Slow much? Fairfield Pointe does have its problems, I admit, but it is nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be. For the most part people are friendly and respectful, everyone has their bad days. Maintenance can be a little on the slow side, but knowing there are only a few maintenance men and 2 LARGE apartment complexes to look after, I would say they're doing their best. As for the problem with the trash compactors, perhaps they would work better if used correctly! Imagine that, proper use making something more effective. Besides Rumpke is responsible for that anyway, not the complex and its staff. I have lived in Apartments my whole 17 years on this earth and this is one of the better ones... Even without the pools and tennis courts this would STILL be the place I choose to live. THINK BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN. Nothing is perfect

At the end of the day this is not a bad place to live. I think people need to remember that this is an apartment not a house. I find it funny that people complain so much but yet they state that they have lived here for years and don't move. I have lived here during the old and new management company. Each company had it's pros and cons but I will continue to live here. I have had neighboors who are great and some who are less than perfect but this could happen anywhere. I have a large apartment and my rent is reasonable. Everyone can always find something or someone to complain about but nothing is perfect. I say suck it up and stop complaining if you are that unhappy move.

Ok either these people that responded to this work here or they are getting paid to say this stuff. I am a former victim of Fairfield Pointe and I would die before I move my family back there. It is unsanitary. To comment on the the trash compacter....it is complete JUNK! If they say they arent being used properly is because thats the only way they work. They get jammed and are rusty (been cut before). Im sure they can afford to buy new and more compacters. Look how many people live there, unfortunately. And as for the water being shut off that was almost daily when I lived there. AND THERE WAS ONLY 1 NOTICE ON THE DOOR THE WHOLE TIME!!! IN 2 1/2 YEARS Im sorry but thats pretty sad. If these people dont work there and really are residents, then I wanna know who they had to do around there to get that kind of treatment. Because me and my family and neighbors sure as in the hell didnt get it. Also, they still only have 2 workers?? I guess is the same 2 idiots that screw more up then fix it. The only 2 dumb enough to work there besides the snobs in the office. You would think they would hire more people. But I am friends with a guy that worked there in the past and I told him we used to live there and he said he quit becuase he wouldnt work for them the way they ran things. If its that bad...which it is, send out little notices to people in the complex and ask for help. Im sure people that are looking for extra work would be happy to do it. They wouldnt even have to leave. It would be worth a try, and Im sure they want the place fixed as well. When the snow hit bad last year when we were there, they didnt scrape the ice on the sidewalks and when I called they said they were behind and low on help. Well my husband went up there and talked to the manager and offered to help...FOR FREE! and never got a phone call nothing. And the side walks still didnt get scraped. If they were that worried about it, they would have jumped all over that. A woman and here newborn fell on the ice as well as an older lady. So my husband scraped and iced ours for us. What a place to live. These people need to stop defending such a horrible place. If they work here and are trying so hard to defend it, then why not put that effort into changing things (and I think they have to work here to say such good things, seriously). This would be a perfect place to see what needs to change. I really dont see how this place is not shut down by now. Mold, asbestos, lead paint, horrible unsanitary maintence people and work...the list goes on.

Okay well first off I don't know who wrote the first reponse but I wrote the second. I nor anyone I know work at Fairfield Pointe. I also did not "do" anyone to get treated well. I think it's the golden rule...treat others how you want to be treated. Again I am shocked that you were so unhappy but lived here 2 1/2 years. Why didn't you just move out? Maybe I have been lucky but my experience has not been bad. I guess people just need to form their opinions themselves. It is bothersome when someone has so much hostility towards what was once their home. If you no longer live here just let it go.

about the water being shut off....i would not say that they actually warn you. they always send out flyers saying it will be shut off one day, so i get up early in the morning and put water in all of my baby's bottles for the whole day. then they never end up turning it off the day they say they are, and do it the next day instead. then i have to go out and buy bottled water because i can't get any water for my son's bottles. they did the same thing when they were putting new stripes on the parking spots. i agree about how maintenance really sucks. we actually know one of the workers, and we still can't get anything done when we ask. the air conditioner went off on one of the hottest days this year and they said they would be there sometime the next day. are you kidding me? they are the ones that consider that an emergency. we have a baby and a dog and it was almost 100 degrees. they took forever to come fix our front door's lock one night. it completely just fell off and anyone could've just walked into the house. i am dreading this winter because i'm sure they'll take forever again to scrape the ice. and of course they would never scrape it off of the stairs up to the outside of the townhouses. i fell and sprained my ankle last year. i've got too many examples of bad service to even list. but the thing that's funny is they are right on top of you if you ever park in a covered parking area and they say you need to tow your car. and they love to send out notes if you are "violating" your lease by having something sitting out in your yard. but they can't come fix any problems. can you believe they say not to have dog cages or work boots on your back patio? where the heck are we supposed to keep this stuff? as if they give enough storage space inside the townhomes. our third bedroom is completely full ofuse random crap because there isn't any room for it. we can't wait to move out of here. we're paying 865/month for a junk hole. we're just waiting to find a house we want to buy because it's too much of a hassle to move to another apartment when it might not be much longer before we get a house.
