I lived at Fairfield Pointe for almost three years. In that three years we had alot of problems. After only being there three weeks the people above us shot a bullet through our celing. We were always having to call maintenance because our air never worked, after about ten calls to the office about it they finally called their sub contracter and it worked perfect, but their maintenance men said their was nothing they could do with it. The townhouse next to our building had a car drove through it. My husband fell through the floor in the entry way to our building and we called to have it fixed about four times and nothing was done so we ended up calling corporate and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Their car policy is for the birds. They allow some people to have cars there that are dented and have rust and missing hub caps but others are not allowed, if they enforce it for one resident they must enforce it for all. The people above us had a leak in their bathroom and it ended up coming down into ours and they never came back and fixed the crack in the ceiling, it was still there when I moved out about four months later. I put in all kinds of work orders that were never completed. I put one in for drip pans, I even asked if it was something I would be charged for and the girl asked management and they told her no and now that I have moved out they are charging me for them but I never received them and feel I should not have to pay for them since I was told I would not have to. I applied to work in their office when we first moved in and the one girl even told me that if I was not under a certain age that would not hire me. They discriminate very badly at Fairfield Pointe. They have too many rules here. A friend of ours was interested in living her because we recommended them before we had all our issues and the lady that showed them the property laughed at them because they came in an older car that they borrowed because theirs was in the shop and because of that they decided they would not live there. Over all this is not a good place to live, they say they have an action program with the Fairfield Police and that they patrol the property but guess what they were never around unless you had to call them. They have had three property managers in two years what does that tell you about this place. And they allow people to have so many cars that there is never anywhere to park at night.

I use to live at Fairfield Pointe, by what you are describing I know which apartment you had lived in, I lived close by. The gun shot was scary, but it was a non resident that had a gun, and they evicted the resident above you the next day. The guy that drove the car into the building was not the complexes fault. They can't control how everybody drives. The crap about needing to call repeatedly to get the floor isn't true, unless you called 4 times in one day, the "floor", which was really just part of the lower steps, was fixed pretty quickly. And no offense, but your husband is quite a large man.
