I've lived here almost 2 years, and my rent increased by $61. Also, now, instead of a grace period if you are say, 1 day late on your rent, you get a $75 fine. I've never been late, but what about people who have been? They take forever to cash the check anyway, so what difference does a day or two make? The old management included water and sewage in the rent, but now I'll be getting a separate bill on top of the rent increase. Also, my dishwasher was broken for about 5 months. It wasn't until I spoke with someone from the corporate office who happened to be inspecting the property that it got fixed. And when I say broke, I mean it was leaking over a gallon of water onto the floor each time I used it, and I reported it every 2 weeks for the 5 months it was broken. Now I have a rattling in the wall next to my bedroom whenever the AC in the apartment above me kicks on. I reported it over a month ago, and when I called the other day the response I got (when I finally called and got an answer, cause they don't call you back if you leave a message) was that emergencies take precedence over general maintenance. I get that, but come on, how many emergencies have they had in the past month and a half that they couldn't get around to looking at my apt? They've also left broken glass laying around in the hallways for over a week, and I mean a lot of glass. Don't live here.
