Timber Hollow Management is the least competent group of people I've ever met. I had a noisey neighbor move in upstairs. After 2 months of complaining about their dog. I am told that since I'm the only one complaining that they can't do anything. Okay fine, what can you do' I ask. We can transfer you into a new apartment for $250. So I, a 16 month resident, can pack my stuff. Rent a truck and move from one building to another get charged $250 and pay my own moving expenses rather than you do anything about the dog that howls all day long while it's locked in the bathroom upstairs. Unfair, but I'm stuck with either constant headaches, and a cranky 19 month old daughter who can't nap for the noise upstairs. the expense seems worth it. I'm told that they'll call me in two days and let me know which apartments will be available for transferring into. After waiting for a phone call all day I decide to call. I'm told two apartments are available and will be ready to be shown on thursday. Thursday morning comes and they tell me that they won't be available till Friday after 4PM. I tell them that I won't be able to get there before they close for the day. We reschedule for 2PM on Saturday. Saturday arrives and the place is closed at 2PM (office hours are 10AM-5PM)I sit in my car for a half hour and someone finally comes in and unlocks the door. The lady had no idea that I was coming in to look at the apartments. I go look and the first one had dead crickets everywhere. most of them covered in paint from the freshly painted walls. The 2nd apartment looked better until I went into the kitchen, there was a open can of nacho cheese on the counter, and after glancing in the fridge, I open the freezer... only to be greeted with a pound of the most rancid meat I've ever seen. it was black and and magots crawling all over it. (No joke) I go back to the manager's office upset that these were "ready" to be shown. I complain and I'm given a 3rd set of keys and said that this one is much cleaner, and is getting new floors in the bathroom & kitchen and I should go look at it. I look at it and it looks great except that the kitchen floor is stained badly. I go back and tell them that I'd like to go through with the transfer process and move into this apartment. I talk to the manager on Monday. She says, "Yes, moving this weekend will be just fine, you can pick up the keys at anytime on Friday." I call at 5:30 friday (30 mins before the office closes), no one answers, I leave a message telling them that I'm running late but I'll be there in ten minutes. I get there and the doors are locked but I can see someone sitting at a desk in the front room. I call again. No answer. After standing in the cold knocking on the door and calling 3-4 more times I give up and leave. Saturday morning I go in and am told by the person there that she had no idea that I was expected. (That's the 2nd time I've come in expected and no one knew what was going on) I'm told that it may not be ready yet, but I can go look. I look and the kitchen floor is still in disarray. I go back up to the office, and give them back the keys and promptly call the electric company, and the water company to cancel the switch that I had scheduled for Sunday so I can continue to have electricity and water in my current (noisy) apartment. I'm fed up with dealing with "We can't do anything right, or do anything to correct the problem, but we can offer you alternative solution" (and botch it in the process) answers...

Why can't management keep their word' Why can't they do anything right' These are questions that I need answers to.

I too am having issues with the Management at Timber Hollow Apts in Fairfield. Their customer service and management is the worst I've ever encountered. I have been living here for over 3yrs and have had the same rate for the past 2yr. When Connor took over, they increase my rent by $20 without the proper documentation and said that if I don't pay it, they won't accept my rent check for the following month. When I inquired about the incrase, the Property Mgr was rude and gave a false CSR phone number so that I may receive proper documentation, proof, or anything else. The number she gave was to the Welcome center. this is the worst place to live and the people who manage it are unprofessional. Word of mouth is powerful and I will tell all of my friends not to live here. I don't mind the increase, but it's bad business. I don't want to move, but I will. Hopefully other will read about our experiences and choose not to live here.
