There are a lot of things that you don't go over BEFORE you sign the lease. First, the security deposit is not really a deposit. It is a $250 adminstrative fee (which you don't get back) plus a $49 security deposit. The admin fee is for stuff like advertising and damages but they don't take this money into consideration when checking your apt upon leaving. They can (and will) charge you so don't even expect that $49 back. And once you put it down, you'd have to be rejected for it to be returned. Next, month to month does exist after the lease is up but only in principle. No one in their right mind would go month to month because it's an extra $100 - $150 on top of market rent. So either strap in for more time or get out. Next, NO GRACE PERIOD! If you are 1 day late they will hit you up for $75. I like the place but they are some greedy a-- bas---ds. Plus, change a tire or battery on your car and it CAN be towed. It's their discretion. Ask about this stuff before putting down money. Just though you should know.
