Just to let everyone know that I hate this place. I have only stayed 3 nights in the apartment because the floors creak so badly on the above floor that I can't sleep. I also discovered that that there were cigarette burns on the vanity top in the bathroom. Now I probably should have caught that one on the initial inspection but you really can't see them very well until you look at the sink top closely. At a quick glance it looks like the coloring of the sink top. I was taking a shower the other day and the water went from the comfortable warm to a scolding hot instantly and without warning and it burned my back. I had no other water in use in my apartment. So I guess the cold water was deferred to another unit and man did it get hot right now. The steam was so bad in the bathroom I couldn't see the medicine cabinet approximatly 6-8 feet away. The deck/balcony has so much algae on it that you track it into the house and when it is wet, its like an ice skating rink its so slippery. So I guess I can't go on the deck either.

There are a bunch of other isuues that they are working on but I am already sick of the place. If you so choose to live here, you better do yourself a favor and thourghly inspect the unit you are renting. this may not be the norm for this place but after reading the comments posted on here I'm guessing that it is an ongoing problem with this managment company.

I read these all the time and to the best of my knowledge it is the only apt complex in Fairfield with this many BAD postings other than maybe other complexes owned by the Connor Group. It is really a shame too, because Wildwood used to be such a nice place when Towne Properties owned them. It is a really pretty community from a far. It is when you get close up and see how dirty the outside of the apartments are, how disgusting the trash dumpsters are, how rudge the management can be and unfair their contracts are (but hey we were all dumb enough to sign them right?). Wait until you see how gross the pools are this summer. The water is so murky you can barely see your feet but hey they will just tell you that is from the sunscreen (because they think we all have an IQ of 10). I called the health dept on them - I know one of the pools was shut down for awhile - according to them it was because of vandalism but the rumors going around were that the health dept shut them down. I had actually called on the other pool though - not the one that was closed. Both are dusgusting. They will tell you a hundred times that they will do certain things and those things will never get done. But they will for sure raise your rent at least $50 every year! And when you rent they will tell you your Heartland bill will be about $15 a month and it is more like $50-$60. I can't wait to leave. My apt is nice but living with the other irritations and knowing that the security deposit doesn't even pay for things that may need fixed due to normal wear and tear or accidents - nope they make you pay for that beyond your security deposit. They just keep that to pocket. I can assure you from the way my apt looked when I moved in, they do NOT use it for cleaning! I had to clean my apt from top to bottom before I would even take a shower or eat in there - it was gross. I have lived all over the country and in much cheaper apts than this one and all of them have been taken care of better than Wildwood. The Connor Group is obviosly in this business just for the money. I wish we could all get together somehow and get on the news to really give them the publicity they deserve!

I would help getting people together and get on the news. We should publically let people know what type of apartments these are so people know before they move in.

Wait till you move out they are a pain about that. Also if you were in a hurry when you signed your lease you may not have caught that the max they give you back on your deposit is $50( wouldn't that be a fee not deposit?.

lol I'll slap that uppidy girl if she tries to charge me when we move out. I keep the apartment rediculously clean and they have been nothing but a pain in fixing things. It's summer time and they haven't fixed my air conditioning. I have a 1 year old in the house and 2 weeks without air conditioning. I finally call them AGAIN today and the lady goes "oh I was just about to call you". Yeah right lady. If the unit hasn't come in yet, order it from somewhere else. There has to be something in the contract about fixing things in a timely mannor.
