I lived at the Villages a few months now and I have no idea where to start! I couldnt have been happier the Friday that I came in to sign my lease but I wasnt allowed to look at my apartment until after 6pm due to the carpet just being cleaned. I thought that was a little bit odd and unorganized but waited until 6 with my UHaul filled up. I was in disbelief! My carpet was in horrible shape my kitchen was not cleaned, my hot water did not work, the front door wouldnt shut... oh I could go on and on...... The next night it was raining and, go figure, my ceilings were leaking! It has just been a mess! The office staff never went out of their way to make me feel better about anything! It is truly the worst place that I have ever lived!!!! Truth be told, The O'Connor Group owns them and they are know to run their communities in the ground!!!!! I will never give the O'Conner Group another penny! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY...

I feel for you, I really do. I moved not too long ago and that was the happiest day ever! The management is the WORST i have EVER dealt with. My apartment was also dirty when I moved in but at least the other things were not as bad as yours. My advice to you (even though you just moved in) is to start looking a few months before your lease is up since you have to give those idiots 60 days notice. You will be better off just about anywhere but there. Wildwood SUCKS! Good luck.......

Just be careful when you are looking because it seems like the O'Conner group owns a lot of properties. Remington Apartments are really great. After moving out of Wildwood (Which was the happiest day for me) I moved into Remington. I have had no problems and if you have a problem they are right there to help. I think there are problems anywhere you go but Wildwood really really sucks. The staff is so RUDE and will not work with you on anything. I HATE them and I would tell anyone NEVER to move into Wildwood. The apartments are dirty when you move in and the maintenance just plain sucks.

I agree, the place sucks, but you are making yourselves look like idiots. It's The Connor Group. Not the O'Conner Group. It amazes me how many people don't read their paperwork. If you aren't going to read what you sign, you desserve to get screwed over.
