I hope you read these reviews carefully before moving to wildwood apartments. Don't be fooled by the sample apartment they show you or the old pictures. I moved to wildwood three years ago from a not so nice apartment complex thinking I was moving somewhere nice and safe. Within the first month my car was broken in to and all my work tools, stereo and speakers were stollen not to mention the pricks ripped my dahboard to pieces to get to my crappy cd player. Since moving here we have had nothin but problems! The apartments here are the most unefficient apartments that I have ever been in. For a one bedroom 700 dollar a month apartment our duke bill was around 250 dollars a month for december and january even though we frooze our ass off with the thermostat set on 65. Now they are telling us the golf course is closed permanetly and the weight room mysteriously burnt to the ground. So no weights, tanning or golf (this place just lost all its worth) The apartments themselves have been "duck taped" together for years and years. You cant live in one spot without seeing cracks form in your walls and ceilings. Everything here is half assed. It is truly an awful and expensive place to live and the staff here could care less about you because there are so many people that live here. DONT CHOOSE WILDWOOD!!!!!! For the money you will spend you deserve something that was not built in the 50s. EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART IN WILDWOOD!!! choose your living wisely. sincerely a very unhappy wildwood renter

I know where you are coming from with the Duke bill. My duke bill has NEVER been more than $35 for my one bedroom. All of a sudden in December, I got a $160 bill! And in January it was $130. Just like you, my thermostat is set at 62. But, my heater makes clanging sounds and sounds like it is going to come out of the heating closet it is so loud. If you just moved in wait until you see your water bill shoot up to $50-$70 a month. I even live in a building that does not have the on-site laundry in it! The office staff told me the water would never be more than $25-$30, but my bill has never been lower than $38. It only goes downhill.....

Yep, in the same boat. The energy costs here are not worth the view of a pond in my backyard with geese shitting on my patio. I don't care how "nice?" it is, $280/month to keep my toes warm in any apartment is bull ----. When I told the maintenance manager about the situation he pretty much said, "sorry about your luck". ---- you, Wildwood. When I move the ---- outta here, I'm going to take a giant dump on my lease and set it on fire on the front step of the clubhouse.

Absolutely!!! We are in the 4 BDR's and our bill was 383.00. We are always at 64 only because we cannot afford anymore. Our water is over 100.00. I had to shovel and buy my own salt this year!!!
