I lived in Aberdeen as a single female for one year (2000-2001), and overall it was a really great place to live. I would definitely live there again. The neigborhood is very quiet at night, and my neighbors were very nice. The laundry facility in my building was also very clean. Maintenance treated my apartment immediately after I noticed a silverfish bug, and I never had any problems after that (I was on the first floor).
