don't rent here for any reason

the rent is expensive for my townhouse. they take forever to plow the snow. this house is way drafty. my gas bills are around $200./ month in the winter. you cannot break a lease if you decide to move.the walls are paper thin, you can hear the neighbors tv all day. the furnaces are gravity furnaces, or something. there is no fan forcing the air into your house it just seeps. the high efficiency windows are drafty and poorly insulated. even with shrinkwrap on them, the marble window sills radiate cold air. you can only park one car in the lot by your home. the other must go in the main lot and take the risk of being broken into. has happened like 3 times in 6 months. (even in a good neighborhood like fairview park. the kitchen cabinets, or lack thereof i only have 7 and 3 of them are half cabinets. are very small and the stationary shelves are very close together. forget standing up a bottle of syrup or vegtable oil in there. the pantry is a good size but it is too deep, and the shelves are too far apart. there are only 4 closets in my townhouse. a small one for coats, one for linens and to small bedroom closets. one in each bedroom. the air conditioning is from in the wall units, which are very old inefficient and very expensive to run. they pretty much refuse to fix something old and practically broken until it totally stops working. my ac in the livingroom blows cool not cold, air when on the coldest setting.and the front panel was fallen off before i moved in, they said that they would replace or fix it. they reattached it with twist ties. like the ones for garbage bags. and now it hangs there crookedly.
