I recently moved here, Sep 05. This is the worst thing I have experienced. They lied on the lease, 60 day move out notice. The outside looks good, but some very crappy inside features (dishwasher broke, very old and falling apart cabinets, cable hookups in 1 of 3 bedrooms, the list goes on) they never even showed me my apartment. Handed me keys and I had to find it myself. The "ditzy and unintelligent" staff that works in the office are a joke. Very unhelpful, not knowledgeable, and very stuck up, especially after you move in. They dont care about what happens after you sign the lease. I had to call 911 for a domestic disturbance my first week because a guy was trying to beat someone with a baseball bat. After one month, my vehicle had the window broke out and stereo and other things taken. My vehicle was parked directly in front of my building. The closest you can get. The police responded and knew exactly where to come and informed me this is a regular occurence. They even stole my change from my ashtray. The windows suck at keeping out cold air, i will have to make sure this is fixed because of heating costs. The entrance to the apartments inside the building have trash constantly, I have to clean it myself. I was wondering why there were so many empty units when they are cheaper than their neighbors. I know why. They advertise $500 to refer a friend, they couldnt give me $1000 to make one of friends move in here. The maintenance guys are fairly nice but I believe their workload is too much. All in all, This is a decent area of Forest Park, but I will say this in all honesty. I am white and really dont fit in too well. Not trying to stereotype or talk down about anyone, but tehre it is.

You have obviously never lived in an apartment comunity and need to get over yourself. Apartments have older things in them sometimes and thats a trade. Go buy a house so it can be the way you want it and until then get used to it. Some people litter, cars get broken into no matter where you live and the only thing ditzy and unintelligent is you.

I have lived in a few apartment complexes and have never had a bad experience. I will definately be buying a house when my lease is up. I may be ditzy and unintelligent, but I am smart enough to move from here as soon as possible.
