The title sign of this complex reads "Luxury Apartments at Kensington Park." I cannot recall in the past few years reading a more misleading and factually incorrect statement as referring to Kensington Park Apartments as Luxury. First I will stick to the facts: This complex is inundated with TRASH-There is literally trash littered throughout this entire complex. There is a partially wooded area next to the CHILDREN S playground and there is so much TRASH littered in this wooded area it looks as if it is being used as a landfill. The list of amenities that was included in this property originally when I moved in 22 months ago has decreased on such a level it rates in the category of ridiculous! When I moved in 22 months ago the management staff claimed Two sparkling pools. Well the main front pool only opened for the first time one week ago-the summer season is almost over with school starting back end of August.The second sparkling lower pool is filthy! Week days or weekends it does not matter or make a difference when using this very small pool you are guaranteed to be met with a dirty pool: the pool area is constantly full of trash, wet-dirty-stinking-molding-clothing, broken and unusable pool furniture and a bathroom that is disgusting and flooded with standing water that one only prays is not backed-up sewage! Maintenance request are rarely processed; I have lived in my apartment for 6 months with a stove that only heats up to 250 degrees. Evictions are an ongoing process at this complex. I have never lived in a complex where I had so many of my neighbors vacating due to evictions. I walk my dog every night and it is almost impossible to walk on the grass areas in this complex without needing to maneuver the EXCESSIVE DOG FECES!! Whether or not the residents are responsible in cleaning-up after their pets you would think the management staff would take enough pride in their place of employment and residence and at least do something about the overrun trash and dog feces in this complex! The laundry rooms, tanning room, workout facilities and the pond in the middle of the complex are no different OVERRUN with TRASH! The pond is stagnant and has a heinous order constantly accosting the senses; in the dead of summer it actually smells so badly it can cause one to become nauseated. There is a tremendously high rate of crime and vandalism at Kensington Park. Cars in the parking lot are constantly being broken into and vandalized and on the 1st of this month the front office was broken into and the rent checks were stolen. I am scarred to walk my dog at night alone in this complex.
My experience: The management staff is the most unprofessional group of professionals I have ever encountered in all of my years dealing in the world of business and customer service. I have never lived in an apartment complex where the management staff was so collectively despised. In the 22 months I have lived at this complex 90% of the time within this community there is a very negative and harsh set of thoughts and feelings expressed and spoken towards the management staff. The Connor Group owns this property and once I started to research The Connor Group the attitude and lack of professionalism of the Kensington Park Luxury Apartment staff made perfect sense. The Connor Group is not a member of the Better Business Bureau and furthermore has an UNSATISFACTORY rating with the BBB. One of my closet friends is a pilot for Comair and stayed with me for a week during his multiple midwestern stops. Upon his departure he commented how he would sleep much better at night knowing I was leaving Kensington Park Apartments because he considered it filthy and unsafe. I was so embarrassed. Before you rent make sure The Connor Group does NOT own the property you are considering! Consumers beware! The properties owned by The Connor Group operate with so many hidden charges the list is too long to include. Do your research and be smart. All you have to do is read all the comments on this website that have given this property only a 42% satisfactory rating! The general consensus of comments expressed agree: the management staff and The Connor Group are greed hungry "professionals" whose main dealings and aspirations is taking advantage of all and any who unfortunately cross their path. Do yourself a huge favor and STAY AWAY from Kensington Park Apartments and all properties owned by The Connor Group!
