Back for my promised review

I moved in here a few months ago, even after reading these bad reviews, because it's 5 minutes from my job and the one bedroom was bigger than average, which is what i needed since most 2 bedrooms were out of my price range in this area. When I moved in I told myself I would come back here and respond on the negatives and what I really thought, whether I agreed or not, so here goes.
1) I keep seeing comments about the office staff being rude and unresponsive, but I have to guess that they must be talking about the old management from before I came, because I've had nothing but good experiences with the girls I've talked to. I haven't had any problems with getting an answering machine when I call--someone always answers. I've had to call for a few maintenance problems, and even though it's taken them a few days to come out, they've always gotten the job done. There was a couple times I went into the office to pick up UPS deliveries, and the phones were ringing off the hook, so it seems that the office is pretty busy at times, but I've always been treated with kindness no matter how busy they were. I even showed up at closing one night, and they unlocked the door and let me in with no problem.
2) Trash. Yes, the trash situation is HORRIBLE. Only one trash compactor for all those apartments isn't enough. Other residents are really lazy and don't even shut the compactor door or start it, just leave their trash hanging half out, so other people end up just throwing their trash on the ground, and by the end of the weekend, no one is even attempting to be responsible for their own trash and just tossing it where ever.
3) Parking is fine. There's usually plenty of open spaces that I see around my building and the two next to me.
4) Noise is average. I live upstairs, so I don't have to hear people walking around on top of me, which is good. I don't have much to say on this one, either...average for an apartment.
5) The Apartment. I've lived in 2 other one bedroom apartments, one bigger and one much smaller, but even the one that was technically bigger in size seemed smaller than this one, for some reason. I have a king size bed and it fits fine in my bedroom, and I have a big closet, too. What's nice is that even though I have a one bedroom, I have a fireplace, which is pretty rare. The cabinets, counters, and appliances are off-white, not outdated looking at all, which is kind of important to me. It's a really comfortable home-y feeling.
6) Water bills. I saw someone on here complain about their water bills, but mine are no different here than the other places I've lived, around $30 or so a month. More than what I'd pay if I had a house of my own, but I guess that's because it's an average type thing. My friends in other apartments have similar bills.
7) Maintenance. I've had a few issues, but they're just normal apartment type things. Apartment complexes don't generally buy the best and most expensive appliances, so I expected that I'd have some issues, so it's not that big of a deal to me. They always come out within a few days to fix things. I guess I'm not as picky as some people. I don't expect that I'm the only person needing repairs, so I don't get bent out of shape if they don't come the day I call. And I don't expect that I'll have brand new stuff that never breaks, either.
I think that most people who come here come here to vent and -----, not actually give a credible review of a place for other people to use. I think some people expect rediculous things and have no common sense, so I'm glad I didn't let those negative people affect my decision to live here. It's an apartment complex, so it's not going to be perfect and wonderful and terrific, none are unless you're paying $2k a month, but I've been happy here overall, and thought that this place doesn't deserve to be ragged on the way it has been. I've worked customer service, and I know how bad terrible reviews hurt businesses and workers, so I wanted to throw my 2 cents in to let people know that it's not so bad.

EDITED: WOW. Things sure change fast. I made this post but am back again to change my opinion of the staff and maintenance. There's new girls in the office (maybe again? as I think the last couple I talked to that were really nice said that they were new, but they're gone already), and they're a bit...snippy. And fake. And don't seem to want to actually TAKE CARE of the sudden maintenance issues I'm having that have been ongoing now for WEEKS. I've called no less than 4 times to see WHEN my issues are going to get taken care of, but everyday I come home and...still not fixed.
Its too bad the girls that were here when I initially posted this are gone already, they really made me feel like they cared, unlike this new crop of staff. But if history repeats itself, they'll probably be gone in a few months too, so maybe the next ones will be better.

I currently work at this community, and was honestly hurt by this posting. I sincerely like my job and do my best to keep our residents happy. When someone brings an issue to my attention, I will do everything in my power to resolve the issue. I apologize to you for the issues that you have had, and I feel bad that you have had such a bad experience. I wish I knew who you are, because I would like to talk with you and see if we can still take care of the issues you are having. If you would like, please call the office and ask for the staff member who posted this. My promise to you is that I will do everything that I possibly can to take care of any problems that you may still have. Thank you.
