GLAD TO BE MOVING ON

I have lived here for 2 years..

The management team is horrible..

My first reason for moving on is the rent.. my unit currently priced at 965.. it is now 1050.. in one year.

If your rent is as much as ONE MINUTE late, you pay a 10% fee. There is no grace period.

Your are required to keep your trash indoors, you're fined if it's outside on a non trash day.

The materials inside the unit are poor.. the ceiling in my bedroom looks slanted, in the summer the upstairs is steamy hot, and in the winters the downstairs is ridiculously cold.. heating and a/c circulation is very poor, and also very expensive.

The a/c units stop working in the summer, they work so hard they freeze up and you're left without cool air.

The carpet in my living room and stairs look like they're 10 years old, I've been here for two years and have steam cleaned twice... CHEAP CARPET.

Be ready to paint, the white paint they use on the walls is stained by simply placing something against the wall.

My microwave has stopped working 2-3 times..

Maintenance took 3 weeks to install my ceiling fan.. that I needed to buy because my a/c stops working at random times during the 2 summers I've spent here.

The pool and the bar are nice things on occasion.

The bar is closed on Holidays... where most people would WANT to go to a bar.. doesn't make much sense. The pool is nice, but usually too crowded to enjoy on weekend summer days. Pool is too small for the amount of people that live here.

Layout of apartments are odd. Bedrooms are very small..

Vinyl floors in kitchen and bathroom begin to peel themselves away from floor.. carpet stains extremely easily.. never wear shoes inside.. you'll be cleaning later.

Water is very hard, will stain your toilets and shower area quite frequently.

Members of maintenance teams are sometimes bothersome. I've seen crews that turn apartments for new renters are very loud and obnoxious.. Also had garbage men get wet messes from trash on my car while taking my bags to their truck..

if you rent the largest unit be ready to have a balcony door in your living room that doesn't lead to a balcony.. it makes heating and cooling harder and is awkward to place furniture in your living room.

I enjoyed living here when I was younger and didn't know much. When living in a place that offered a bar was great.. but for the price this place isn't worth it. There are better options available for renting.

I couldnt agree more with this review. Everything this user posted is correct. To top it off the employees at the leasing office all tell you different things when you call to ask questions about apartment rules and lease rules. You CANNOT trust anything they say you MUST get everything in writing. The are not flexible even for their best of tennants and are very rude, possibly because they know Corporate WILL back their employees first. Our unit is 2 years old and it seems much older because the material they used is very cheap and cheaply installed. And be prepared to pay ALOT for your heating and air conditioning and still not have an even temp throughout the house. The useless first floor is freezing cold like your outside in the winter, the second floor is cold and the third floor is hot.. heating bills are extremly high. Our first year here we had 300 heating bills and that was keeping out heat low to wear we had to wear layers. Side note (walls are thin, be hopeful your neighbors are not fighters)

wow how ridiculous, wah wah the bar wasn't open on holidays and dirty shoes make the carpets dirty, no way. I don't believe it, you're telling me that a bar that is small and only meant as a convenience isn't open 24 hours? And how about those carpets, they don't have the stain-proof carpets that don't exist in your rented apartment? That is outrageous you should write a letter to your congressman, or get an education and not pay a thousand dollars a month for rent considering I own a condo there and don't pay that much for my mortgage you smart smart person(sarcasm).
