It's not soooooo bad if you don't mind walking through enormous layers of spider webs going into and coming out of your apartment. Once you're inside you can get the 3D version of fear factor by watching the bugs crawl across the walls, up through the carpeting and invade your food in the cabinets.

We have seen less bugs in the dorms where we are camp counselors in the summer.

Of course when we first moved in we didn't see any indication of these problems. Within a month the bug problem became horrific!!!! It' so gross... so until we move we are eating out and spending time at a friends house which is expensive and exhausting but so worth not being grossed out. We knew we had to move but wanted something done so when we moved we hopefully wouldn't take any of these creepy creatures with us.

After several calls were not returned we went to report the problems. The ditsy office staff pretended to be shocked. Now we see why none of them live at any of the Casto Properties. We asked if the apartment had been sprayed after the last resident. They answered that was not part of the routine maintenance. We insisted they call the Orkin man but I swear he sprayed something that made the problem worse. So we are moving immediately and filing a complaint with the health department.

These apartments are gross! STAY AWAY or PREPARE FOR THE BUG BATTLE OF A LIFETIME.

P.S. Somebody has cleaned out the negative reviews on this place because its been open for years and when we moved out there were a whole lot more reviews. If we wouldn't have had such HORRIBLE experience we would have been glad to write a review that was gavorable

It is odd that there were no bugs prior to you moving in, but a month after there were bugs. And then they sprayed, but magically bug spray did nothing. It seems to me that you do not know how to keep your place clean so that bugs don't get in. Maybe all that time spent at camp has turned you into a slob. Seriously, I live in an apartment complex in the woods on the first floor and was even warned that there might be a bug problem. Aside from the occasional beetle or spider, I don't get any bugs. They offer to spray whenever I request it, but I have yet to need it. Learn to clean properly.

I am currently living in these apartments. They are not as bad as everyone states. The staff is friendly and quick to respond. Casto knows what they are doing.

Casto knows what they are doing, but not at the Vista. I agree, the problem here is disgusting. I want out now. And the staff is very unreliable. They do what they want to do and when they want to do it. Charge you for something that you didnt know you were being charged for, and then act like we were the ones who made the request .
