Great for deaf people

First of all, let me say that the layout of the Phase II apartments is wonderful. You get alot of space for a real reasonable rate. The staff in the office are very nice and helpful, the grounds are kept great, and I love the fact that it has electric heat rather than gas. Its a wonderful place to call home......if no one lives around you or you are deaf.
I can stand in my kitchen, my bathroom, or in my entryway, and hear EVERY WORD of my downstairs neighbors conversations. I can stand anywhere else in the apartment and hear it too, just slightly muffled. If someone is coughing, sneezing, or throwing up in the bathroom, I can hear it as though it were in the next room. The wall I share with my next door neighbors is just as bad. You can hear every cabinet shut and every drawer open and shut, and even can hear your neighbors garbage disposal (which is not even against that wall). Had I known how thin these walls were, I NEVER would have signed a lease here. Now, I am stuck for a whole year having to hear screaming wives, screaming children, slamming cabinets and doors, and music loud enough to rattle my walls. Granted, I could repeatedly complain to the office about the noise and get the people kicked out, but the problem is not so much the people as the construction/insulation (lack there of) of the apartments. A mouse could fart in the next apartment and I can hear it. So sad.
Otherwise, I would have given this apartment RAVE reviews, and recommended it to all of my friends. Alas, only the hard of hearing should move into an apartment at Knollwood Crossing phase II.

I heard EVERY word my neighbors said and they were a couple of college boys whose language was VERY offensive and I could hear it in my own house! I heard every cabinet close, toilet flush, playstation game... it was terrible and the office staff didn't do anything beyond send out flyers that were ignored.
