First of all I want you to know you do get what you pay for. The price is reasonable in that the rooms are spaciously big and there is plenty of cabinet and closet space. The apartments are very nice looking and the grounds will probably mature. But I have concerns as to whether the owners really want a top notch complex. The location of the apartment complex is an area that is developing, and there probably will be other apartments being built in the near future.

We moved into our brand new apartment and considering they were new, they are cheaply made which means cheaper appliances, cheap carpeting which began sheeding day one, drafty sliding glass doors, and "corner cutting" construction. I hear everything my neigbors say.

There is a constant water leak from under the sidewalks. The parking situation is not adequate to accomodate those who live here. The grass can't grow in most areas because the bedding is clay not dirt.

The Heights closed the pool earlier than usual this year because the filter system broke. (Possibly from all the leaves that fall into the pool from the trees that surround it.) Instead of fixing it and keeping it open until the end of the season which needs to be extended since days are warm up until October.

We've never noticed anyone from the maintenance picking up trash and cleaning up the dog poop to keep the area clean. There is garbage in the ponds (plastic buckets, cups, cans etc.). Cigarrette butts are all over the grounds and parking lots along with trash. There are not enough dumpsters to handle the tennants, thus bags of trash are left outside of them when full. Instead, they just empty the dumpster and set it down on top of the remaining bags.

The management needs to improve their troubleshooting technique, be more actively visible and show a "can do" attitude to make this a better place to be, instead of patronizing the tennants and lame excuses. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

As a resident, I came in here to write a review. I see now that you have done that for me. Everything you have stated is true. When you move in, everthing looks shiny and new. The currant office staff will politely listen to your complaint and then do nothing. Absolutely nothing. The only person Ive met who cares is the maintence man named JOHN. I really hate the dog poop and the cig butts all over the place. I feel like im married to my neighbors since I hear every word they say and know everything they do every min of every day. I'm in the Heights section of Knollwood and would like to nominate my neighbors for the playboy sex award for AWSOMELY LOUD SEX. The spiders around here must live on toxic waste because you could put a small collar on them. This is not a joke people! Thank you previous reviewer for a very concise and well thought out review. Saved me a lot of time.

I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE. I MOVED INTO THIS THIS COMPLEX IN APRIL OF 2007 BRAND NEW NEVER LIVED IN APARTMENT (LAST PHASE). 1ST ISSUE WAS THE EXCESSIVE SHEDDING OF THE CARPET (CHEAP CARPET)..IT LITERALLY TOOK 6 MONTHS WORTH OF VACUUMING EVERY SINGLE DAY BEFORE THE SHEDDING STOPPED, PLUS THE AGGRIVATION OF A CLOGGED VACUUM. I THOUGHT THE APPLIANCES WERE VERY NICE SO NO COMPLAINTS THERE WITH ME. HOWEVER AFTER LIVING THERE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND AQUIRING MORE NEIGHBORS I THEN BEGAN TO REALIZE HOW THIN THE WALLS WERE..YOU COULD HEAR SLIGHT CONVERSATION FROM YOUR NEIGHBORS,ALSO SOUNDS FROM THE TV FROM BOTH THE SIDE NEIGHBORS AND MY NEIGHBORS BELOW, ESPECIALLY IN THE BEDROOM WHERE MY BED WAS UP AGAINST THE WALL SO I FOUND THIS VERY ANNOYING BECAUSE MY NEIGHBORS HAD A SCREEMING NEWBORN THAT AWAKENED SEVERAL TIMES A NIGHT, PLUS YOU COULD HEAR THEIR CONVERSATION..NOT COOL. ALSO SOMETIMES I COULD SMELL MY NEIGBORS DINNER COOKING, SOMEHOW THE SMELL TRAVELED TO MY APARTMENT (WHICH I LIVED ON THE TOP LEVEL). ALSO POOR INSULATION, WHICH SHOWS HOW CHEAP THESE APARTMENTS WERE MADE..SOME OF THE LIGHT SWITCH OUTLETS HAVE A DRAFT AND IT IS VERY NOTICEABLE NOT A SLIGHT DRAFT BUT YOU CAN FEEL WIND BLOWING..I HIGHLY DOUBT THERE IS ANY INSULATION AROUND SOME OF THEM. AND AS FAR AS THE GROUNDS, I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE..THE LAKES ARE NOT KEPT CLEAN AT ALL, WHICH IS A SHAME BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY BIG AND NICE, MASSIVE ALGAE OVERGROWTH, TRASH IN THE LAKE, AND GRASS CLIPPING FROM CUTTING OF THE GRASS WERE JUST LEFT IN THE LAKE, I FEEL THE GROUNDKEEPERS ARE VERY LAZY WITH MAINTAINING OF THE PROPERTY. BASICALLY I THINK THE APARTMENTS ARE OK..HOWEVER I DONT FEEL THE RENT PRICE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE TYPE OF LIVING IE:CHEAPLY MADE, NOISE, MAINTENANCE ISSUES..I FEEL IF THOSE WERE NOT ISSUES THE RENT WOULD BE REASONABLE, BUT TO PAY $775 MONTH I DONT FEEL ITS WORTH IT AND HAVE CHOSE TO RENT ELSE WHERE WHERE I CAN GET MY FULL MONEYS WORTH

I would also agree with all of the above statements. We have live in the Heights since December of 07 and the noise is rediculous. I hear every door, conversation, tv, radio, etc. I couldn't believe how thin the walls were the first week we lived here. I am really disappointed to be paying the higher rent cost for such uncomfortable living.

Are you seriously going to complain about grass clippings in the pond? Get a ------- life and stop talking your boring lives out on petty problems.
