I've lived at Lakota Pointe for 9 months. I don't love or hate the place, just indifferent. I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone. I want to laugh when I read that someone there rated maintenance as a 4. I was given a paper when I moved in to list any problems with the place that I saw. 9 months later, they still aren't fixed, not to mention there are new problems. I have been complaining about a specific safety issue since the beginning of summer. It's now December and I'm no closer to having the problem fixed. I'm getting frustrated. Sure the kids play in the street and there is a little noise from time to time,but I feel there is too much emphasis on those things than taking care of our maintenance problems. I'm thinking of moving or talking to an attorney. My advice to anyone looking for a place to live, speed up when you get to Lakota Pointe. Don't bother to stop in, of course, unless you like fixing things!
