The apartment upon first visit seems great...updated cabinents, appliances,etc...however once you move in you realize you live in what seems more like the projects than anything. People are always out working on their cars with their music blaring at all times of the day and night, people leave several bags of trash outside their door for days at a time, some apartments have over 10 occupants, so you never know who your neighbors are or if they should be there. As for the ammenties the work out room is only open during office hours, as for the pool i have tried to go 5 times and every time it was closed for a different reason. The cops are constantly being called back here, it has gotten so bad that they now have horse police that patrol the complex. A cop informed me one night that there is a severe drug problem here, and someone was shot just near the children's playground recently. I wish I would have known what I was getting into, now I'm stuck for a year! If you aren't worried about safety or ammenties, it is a great apartment for the money, but that's about all you're getting.

You are NOT stuck. That happened to me. All you have to is request a copy of the police reports concerning the complex. If you feel for your safety and that of your family, you can break the lease.
