Hilliard Park

I've lived here with my husband and 2yr old, for a year now. Parking is my biggest complaint. If you have a garage, great, but if you live in a 2 bedroom flat, you'll be fighting for a parking spot and nothing will be resolved with the office. You are not guaranteed a spot, and they say first come first serve, or "it's overflow parking". There are no parking tags, no apt# on the curb for at least one spot, and no speed bumps through out the complex. I hate speed bumps, but I also fear my 2yr. old walking out in front of a car doing 30-40mph (and no speed limit sign anywhere). Nothing is reinforced here. Others complain and a few friends have moved because of the noise from the 10-14 yr olds. Who also fight and throw trash everywhere. Come check out this place on a Sunday!!! I wouldn't say it's an unsafe place, but check out the police reports before signing on the dotted line. In the past year I've seen the fire truck here at least 3 times, and the cops about 10-15 times, not including the FBI (for a drug raid). This place at a first glance is the best thing around, until you live here!!!! Sorry, I just wouldn't recommend this place at all. We haven't left yet, b/c of money, and job situations (and school). Great maintenance though, that's the only plus on my list.
