I am 40 years old and have rented all my life. I am finally about to buy my first home thanks to the tax credit and have to say if it wasn't for me buying a home, I would be staying here for sure! I did a ton of research when I took my job here in Columbus. I spent almost 2 months searching numerous complexes throughout Dublin, Hilliard, Polaris and other areas known to be the most desirable. After all of my research I decided on Hilliard park for numerous reasons and am very glad that I did. The construction is top notch, many apartments are build just to standards and have thin walls, Hilliard Park did not, I hardly ever hear my neighbors at all. The grounds are well maintained, the staff is wonderful. They have great ammenities like the free car wash and vacuum. I do not have kids, but they do have a playground that I see the family's using a lot. The even have a putting green. There is a ton of great shopping and restaurants nearby on Rome-Hilliard Rd. I never have to travel far to get to what I want. Easy access to I-270 is a huge plus. Square footage and storage space in the unit is another plus, the master bedroom is more than large enough for my king size bed. The kitchen is great and has an island, which I love. Parking was never a problem. Bottom line is this, you will not find a newer or nicer unit in this price range. I found more upscale units in my search, but they all cost over $1000 a month. If you are like me and are looking in the $800 range, this place is a must see. Most of the units I saw in my range were much older construction and not nearly as well maintained. I give Hilliard Park an A. One of the best units I have ever lived in, and I have lived in many.

Roberts road was recently widened and makes the curb appeal and access to the entire complex so much better. I never have a problem with traffic. The other reviews stating that people are "drag racing" in the area is an exaggeration. Yes, the playground is centered near the entrance to the entire complex and cars must pass near the play area, but if parents keep their children from running into the drive's that access the left and right of the complex, they are not in danger at all. If the situation was as bad as some people say, there would be accidents here, and there hasn't been any. Watch the news, you don't hear about much crime over here on this side of town either.
