I agree with all that has been said. I have lived here since May, and in that time, have been given the runaround more times than I can count.

Luckily we have friends that also moved in down the hall, but we showed up with a Uhaul filled with stuff on the day we were to move in, and our apartment was not ready. We moved in with our friends for nearly 2 weeks while our apartment got repainted and recarpeted, but even after we got our own place, we were still charged for the rest of the month--no discount at all for the HUGE inconvenience! Even when we finally moved in, the apartment was still EXTREMELY dirty and had dog hair everywhere, including inside the fridge and in the shower and tub.

Our friend that lived down the hall also got his car COMPLETELY stripped down in the middle of the night while parked under a light that was burnt out. His car had nothing left-not even the wheels-and the light in the lot has still not been repaired 6 months later!

I also agree with the issues of the office staffing constantly changing, and each new team saying and promising different things. The staff makes us feel that its an inconvenience to ask for maintanence to repair anything, but we've been fairly lucky about getting things repaired.

When we moved in we were told this was a quiet place that took exceptional care of its grounds and buildings, but the walls are filthy and hallways often smell of smoke from both legal and illegal activity.

I feel bad for people trying to raise children here, and I really am fearing the day that I move out after reading all of the comments. I'm afraid they'll charge me excessively, even though my apartment is in amazing condition.

With that being said, I would not recommend this place at all. I would definitely suggest taking your chances elsewhere.

so true.....everyone stay away from Breckenridge & all Triangle Real Estate/Ardent Property Management/Preferred Living/Lifestyle Communities & their properties in the Columbus area.
