Clifton Cove

I moved here because 3 of my friends also live here, and it's been okay so far.

Things I like about C.C.:
-my apartment is really cute and constructed in a kind of early 1900's style;
-nice hard-wood floors;
-it's located within walking distance of restaurants and bars (--- and straight);
-the walls are really thick, I've yet to hear my next-door neighbor;
-there is off-street parking available;

Things I don't like about C.C.:
-you have to pay for the off-street parking monthly, $20 for outdoor and $30 for garage, and the garage spaces can be a bear to get in and out of;
-the landlords could really do a better job of clearing the ice and snow from the driveway;
-the walls are thick, but the ceilings aren't!
-My fuse in my apartment blew out several times last summer, and it wasn't even the fuse supporting the AC
-my apartment is facing Cove Avenue, and I get to hear the fire truck every time it roars by (firestation is right down street), I can also hear the train whistle at night because its about 400-500 feet away;

Finally, some advice, there are two kinds of one bedroom apartments here, mine is about 550 sq. ft., I think, and the other kind is about 600 sq. ft. or so. Anyhow, the rent is (unfairly) the same price for each kind, so try to get the bigger one if you can!
