This is an older building with about 18 apartments in it (no #13, ha). It's spacious and the apartments in the front of the building have some nice bay windows. Given that it is on a major street, there is some road noise, and there are dogs allowed so once in a while you'll hear some dogs barking. The noise level from other apartments is pretty minimal, occasionally if windows are open you will hear music or people being loud (esp if they are walking around alot) but other than that it's pretty decent. Some of the neighbors are friendly, some not so much.

Heat & Water are included -you pay for electricity and your gas use.

So the bad things-well the windows are old, some need new screens. The pipes and wiring are pretty old-careful if you have too many appliances on at once you might break a circuit. Management is sometimes difficult to get a hold of but usually is pretty responsive in a reasonable time frame. The parking can be tricky for visitors-don't let them park in the lot, it's residents only and others will be towed. There is usually a good amount of street parking off of Clifton or Cove but with Clifton you need to be aware of certain time of day restrictions (4-6 in the afternoon on the north side, and 7-9 am on the south side) and Lakewood does tow.

In all a pretty good value, as long as you aren't looking for a lot of frills. Fairly cheap rent, and it allows pets are the main attractions.
