Overall, the staff and the residents here are nice and respectful of each other. I have found Kathy, the manager, to be friendly, responsive, and accommodating to myself and other residents. Many of the people who reside at the Imperial House have lived here for many years. The actual apartments are spacious and balconies are larger than average as well. I think the view on the East side of the building is my favorite since it looks at downtown, but the West side is also nice since the lake view is still present, and if you consider in many other apartment buildings you could just be looking at a parking lot or a dumpster. I'll take the lake over a parking lot view any day.

Anything I have needed repaired was taken care of promptly and the maintenance men were neat, clean, and respectful of my home. The laundry area is generally kept very cleaning and has newer equipment. You can save some time doing laundry by doing more than one load of laundry at a time. If you have a dog, as many people here do, going for walks down Edgewater Drive is pleasant and still feels safe at most hours of the day or night. Their is definitely more of a feeling of being a part of an actual neighborhood here. That has made it more enjoyable for me personally.
